Vault 7

Apparent leaked documents detailing a CIA hacking program, which allegedly attempted to create malware in order to monitor espionage targets. For example, some of the documents reference a “Weeping Angel” program to compromise certain Samsung smart TVs in order to use them as microphones; the televisions would appear off while relaying audio data to secret CIA servers.
The Vault 7 leaks were published by WikiLeaks. While the CIA refuses to publicly acknowledge the legitimacy of the documents, numerous news sources have reported that the Vault 7 leaks are legitimate.
